Welcome to Pre-K 3, where your adventure begins!

Hi, I am Mrs. Furtado and I am so excited to be your child’s teacher.

Mrs. Furtado - Aide

Welcome to Preschool 3! This year promises to be an exciting year designed to promote and enhance your child’s growth and development. This very crucial year will be filled with discovery and joy as your child works and plays in an environment that is warm, safe, and challenging.

Our daily activities are planned to encourage independence, self-confidence, and group cooperation through a variety of hands-on, interactive experiences, reinforcement in mathematics, writing skills, social and emotional development skills and language development. We will work together in large group, and small group settings, as well as one on one.  Please know that your child’s success is at the utmost importance to me.

You will notice the focus of our curriculum is centered not only around the letter of the week, but centered around theme units. This is the core of our integrated learning and these units of study will be used to extend across, and connect all of our content areas.  In doing so, your child will see the continuity of his or her learning and the application of skills will become more concrete. We will focus on routine, how to treat others and ourselves, and above all learn about our almighty God. They will begin to learn their prayers, come to know and love God, and begin their journey to a wonderful relationship with Him.

I truly believe that communication is the key to your child’s success. A collaborative, and cooperative partnership is crucial to your child’s success. I encourage you to contact me should you have any questions or concerns at any time. I am looking forward to working with your child as we teach them to reach for the stars. If you need to reach me for anything please do not ever hesitate to email me. Get ready for a wonderful year that promises to be an amazing experience for our littlest learners.
