Fábio Miguel Sousa, ‘09
Fábio Miguel Sousa is a graduate of St. Michael’s School Class of 2009. Since his graduation at SMS, Fabio moved on to Diman and further, to the University of Massachusetts - Dartmouth, receiving a Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Fábio is currently employed at Spectrum Lighting Inc. as a Recessed Engineering Manager.
During his time at SMS, Fábio says his favorite memory “was always our annual field day. It was a really nice way to reward the students and gave us a day to just have fun and enjoy ourselves. It was also really fun watching the teachers get involved and let loose during the games and activities.”
“SMS gave me a foundation for my success by always making sure myself and others never fell behind. At SMS, I always felt like the teachers and staff cared about the students personally and tried their best to help us succeed.” He adds, “a big part of that was due to the fact that we had smaller class sizes which allowed for more one on one time with the teacher if we were struggling or had questions.”
