JESSICA REGO CARVALHO, ‘99
Jessica Carvalho, a graduate of St. Michael School, class of 1999, is a Training and Development Officer for BayCoast Bank, with an Associate of Science in Business Administration degree, with a concentration in General Management from Cambridge College. “St Michaels School provided the stepping stones to where I am in life today. Besides a strong education, St. Michaels School taught me values, service, and gave me a strong foundation in faith.”
“The teachers and staff showed us how to be empathetic and to lead by example. I was not only a part of the school but a part of a faithful community filled with selfless parishioners. The St. Michaels community provided me with lifelong role models and friendships.” Mrs. Carvalho is an active member of the St. Michael School community. Her son, Jacob Carvalho, is a graduate of the school as well, and her daughter, Eliana, is currently enrolled here.
She spoke of many fond memories at SMS. “Some of my favorite memories at St Michaels's school were the yearly field trips to Nanaquaket and bowling. Running around the school trying to be the first group to find every item on the scavenger hunt list. Special person bingo with my grandparents. Bringing in freshly picked flowers for the crowning of Mary. Being a part of the CYO Basketball team, Youth Group (S.M.Y.G), and choir.”
