Saint Michael Parish School is a strong and growing Parish School which is beginning  “82 Years” during this 2012-2013 Academic School Year. Saint Michael School has been serving generations of the Portuguese American community and generations of Catholic families with a comprehensive education steeped in the traditions and values of our faith.

During the 2006-07 academic year, Saint Michael School was accredited by the “New England Association of Schools and Colleges”.  Our 5 year report to NEASC was accepted in June of 2011.  The NEASC Commisson commended Saint Michael School for the increase in enrollment, the updating of technology and the active School Advisory Council.  We offer our students a comprehensive academic program including Art, Music, Computer, and Physical Education Classes. Our technology is up-to-date with a full computer lab and a Promethean Board.  We also have five new smart boards shared among our ten classrooms and we are now wireless.  Most of our updates for technology have been made possible through grants from the Holy Union Sisters.  We also provide our students with a wide variety of  Sports Teams and Extracurricular Activities each year.

In addition to the above, Saint Michael School has a Before and After School Day Care Program and a Hot Lunch Program through the State.
