Curriculum :: Extended Day :: Sports :: After School Clubs

Religion is a central part of our school program. The School Community gathers together for prayer each morning and at the end of the school day. Liturgy is celebrated on major feast days as well as once a week during the Lenten Season.
The school also provides a full academic program which follows the Diocesan Curriculum of the Fall River Diocese. These learning outcomes can be found at the Diocesan website (www.DFRCEC.org). These outcomes are based on the Massachusetts State Standards. All classrooms have Internet access and Cable. There are additional Internet access in the Computer Room & School Library.
Students in all grades participate in educational field trips which include visits to the Mystic Aquarium, Zeiterion Theater as well as Museums located in the Boston area.
Classes also participate in community sponsored programs. These programs include those provided through the District Attorney's Office and Junior Achievement.
Saint Michael School now enjoys a hot lunch program sponsored by the Swansea School Department.
There is also a before and after school Daycare Program.
