Literacy and Science Class

Spring is here! The birds are chirping in song as we approach the final trimester of the school year.  Students have been busy bees, learning about  Earth Day and the importance of taking care of our planet and all it has to offer us.  Students have been taking into action all that they have learned this lenten season about sacrifice, service, prayer, penance, and fasting.  Socially, students in first grade have been learning about TEAMWORK, and how this is a very important skill to not only have in class or on the playground, but at home as well.  Please reinforce this at home with your child; talking about it at the dinner table.

Reminder: In order to build fluency in reading, you must read, read, read! So pick up a book before bed and during vacation and practice, practice, practice! ♥
